This week at the Academy we worked on wired wedding bouquets, this is a technique in which you replace most of the heavy stems and stalks with wire, to create a trailing, light (to hold) bouquet. These bouquets are extremely romantic and the wiring process allows you to create a different shape bouquet than the traditional hand-tied bouquet.

I've featured some of my favorite designs above and below, I really like the special little touches you can add to this style of bouquet.

The wired bouquet gives you more flexibility in the shape and style of the wedding bouquet and allows the bride to have a larger bouquet that isn't too heavy to hold. I love wiring and love creating bouquets that are a bit different for a bride. This style is the way to go if you like a lot of foliage and a big bouquet that you can still hold throughout your special day.
